Not only people suddenly left their homes, but also things. Not only people but also objects became refugees. Some were pushed into a suitcase in a hurry, some were forgotten. Things, like people, have different attitudes - some believe that it is their duty to serve no matter what, others protest, others have completely lost heart.... We describe today's time through the stories of objects. Not so long ago, people spoke and objects were silent, but now they have switched places - people have lost the power of speech out of horror and objects have spoken.
We were the perfect couple, you know? Somebody else is lucky enough to be together, and I'm alone. I could put an ad out for a lonely sock looking for a mate. Is that funny? Of course it's funny. We packed in a hurry and took one sock instead of two. If you forgot one of your winter boots, it would be a tragedy... and a sock is just a consumable. Maybe I'll find a pair... Maybe. But I'll never be as happy as I was before the war. Could you live your life torn in half?
Lonely Sock
We're a little embarrassed... ashamed to be happy when everyone else is complaining. Don't think we're against the war. But we always wanted to be European. It's cleaner here. In winter they use small stones instead of salt, it's much more environmentally friendly and there's no salt streaks. It's objectively better here. Eh, it's just a pity that my youth is gone....
