Total Theatre
The tribune invites the viewer to climb on it, take a seat and observe the life of the city - architecture, weather, other people, to experience the flow of life as a process and themselves as a significant part of this process. Total theatre is an object for the independent gathering together and appropriation of the city, history, and the environment in which it exists. In terms of its functions, this tribune is similar to its sister standing in Times Square in New York, as well as to its similar temporary structures installed in iconic places around the world. VDNKh is probably the ideal place where such a structure could be installed in Moscow - the quintessence of Stalinist architecture, the artistic peak
of the historical period, which is associated with a whole set of concepts and relations - admiration, rejection, attempted restoration, trauma, human catastrophe, the last great mythology, national pride, the relationship between the artistic and the social, and other extremely important issues that need reflection by modernity. In this sense, the "Total Theatre" tribune is a democratic proposal addressed to everyone to think about the important questions of our time and to form their own individual opinion.
